Decades is a 15,000 sq ft multi-floor retro nightclub in Dupont Circle, spread across six floors with eight bars and five DJs running simultaneously. The concept is floor-by-floor by era — 90s on floor one, 2000s on floor two, hip-hop on floor three, and electronic/trending on the rooftop — so you can literally walk upstairs to change the decade you're in. The rooftop retracts in warm weather for open-air views of Connecticut Ave, and closes and heats in winter.
Expect a mixed 20s-30s crowd that migrates between floors depending on what era they want to hear — the 90s floor tends to draw the most nostalgia-seekers while the rooftop skews younger and more electronic. Open Thursday through Sunday (Sundays run a daytime/evening format from 4pm). Cover and bottle service are standard DC pricing; VIP table booking is available. Lines form on Fridays and Saturdays after 11pm.
