Velvet Dog was a multi-floor dance club and rooftop bar on West 6th Street in Cleveland's Warehouse District, open from 1998 until February 2025. The club ran across four floors — a hi-tech first floor dance space, a third-floor martini lounge, and a rooftop terrace with skyline views. It leaned into Top 40 and pop/rock remixes, attracting a mainstream crowd drawn to the neighborhood's bar-strip energy. It closed permanently on February 1, 2025 after more than 25 years.
