Inside Sound-Bar

The vibe

Sound-Bar is a 20,000 sq ft, two-level club in River North at 226 W Ontario St with European minimalist decor, laser lights, and a serious sound system. The main floor draws a house, techno, and trance crowd chasing touring international DJs; downstairs flips to hip-hop, Top 40, and R&B for a more mainstream late-night feel. It seats around 1,200 and feels big — nine bars, four boutique lounges, and a dedicated VIP room give it room to breathe.
