Sevilla is the oldest surviving club in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter, open since 1987 at 353 5th Ave. The format is unambiguously Latin — salsa, bachata, merengue — mixed with hip-hop, Top 40, and house with a Latin twist on weekends. The room has a wraparound bar, plush lounge areas, and a dance floor that fills up with people who actually came to dance, not just stand around.
Cover is $10 before 10:30 pm, $20 after on weekends. Dress code is standard Gaslamp (no athletic wear).
