Light Ultraclub occupied 2020 Crescent Street in downtown Montreal, right in the thick of the Crescent strip's bar-heavy block. It ran two floors with a modern layout, heavy LED light production (the name was literal — the room leaned hard into lighting rigs), and a dress-code door that turned away hats, sneakers, and baggy pants to keep the crowd skewing upscale. Music was a mainstream mix: house, hip-hop, and R&B rather than a purist electronic room.
